Galileo LED glass suspension lamp by Lumina
The classic Lumina Galileo is finally available again; it is now equipped with a high-quality LED module. The structure is made of aluminum, manufactured using a complex process, and is available in brushed nickel or brushed gold. The integrated COB LED emits 1440 lumens at a color temperature of 2700 K (3000 K available upon request) and a high CRI of 97. The lamp is equipped with a dimmable driver, available in either push/1-10V/DALI dimming or phase-cut dimming (Triac).
A special feature of the lamp is the uniquely crafted glass diffuser. The shape is milled from a single block of multiple bonded layers of glass, a process that requires many hours to achieve a perfect result. The optical glass of the Galileo pendant lamp produces a fascinating and unique refraction effect.

Lumina began with an idea from Tommaso Cmimini who designed the Daphine in a basement in 1973. Lumina was officially established in 1975 with the intention of designing and building light fixtures that “could dress nothing more than what is necessary”.
