Itama is a young, Italian product design firm that specializes in interior lighting fixtures and works on in-house projects. It was established in 2006 as a design-driven company thanks to an artistic idea of Massimo Tonetto, an architect who gained valuable experience working with leading companies in the lighting sector and focusing on interior and industrial design. Itama design stands out with its functionality and simple, elegant lines. Warm lights and rigorous shapes turn surrounding space into a spectacular scenario of colours and unforgettable emotions. The distinct personality of Itama lamps offers a rich variety of visual sensations and creative solutions that redefine the furnishing concept. Itama currently manufactures all its products in Italy, fully focusing on Italian industrial design.

Ring LED suspension light by Itama

Ring-shaped LED hanging lamp RING by Itama from Light4 As the name suggests, RING is a ring-shaped hanging lamp equipped with two LED strips that are covered by an opal polycarbonate. The closer environment of the lamp is illuminated to 360° because the lamp emits light up and down. The entire body is made of metal in the colors: matt white, matt black and brushed gold. The lamp is held in place by three steel cables. Furthermore, a thin and transparent power cable leads up into a white ceiling rose Ø 22cm. Tip: if the light is mounted on a plaster ceiling, you can remove the ceiling rose and wire the light in the plaster ceiling. The Ring SO 80 emits 2000lm downwards and 2000lm upwards (4000lm), while the Ring SO 120 emits 3250lm downwards and 3250lm upwards (6500lm). Like a stone thrown into water stirs waves and reverberation, light transforms and brings DROP to life.
