The company Flos was founded in 1962 in South Tyrol, specifically in Merano. The target was to design and produce a modern and up-to-date lighting. Today Flos is one of the most important firms in the field of decorative and designed architectural lighting and regarded as a trendsetter and pioneer in the design and use of its materials. This is demonstrated by the first models of the company in the Cocoon range, which are still in circulation, and are still being produced, with great success.
