If the customer is a consumer (consumer) in the legal sense (legislative decree no. 206/2005), he can cancel the contract by means of registered mail with return receipt within the time limit of 10 (ten) working days from receipt of the delivery of the ordered goods and/or receipt of a partial delivery as stipulated by the law. A condition for the validity of this cancellation is that the goods must be unused and in a condition to be sold again and in their original packing and in a further robust packing sent back to “Platinlux des Platino Giorgio & Co. KG” within 14 working days from receipt or partial receipt of the goods ordered. The cost of this consignment must be solely paid by the customer in accordance with legal ordinance no. 205/2006. Should the merchandise be damaged on the return journey, “Platinlux des Platino Giorgio & Co. KG” reserves the right to deduct the decrease in value that results from this from the buying price.

If it has not been otherwise agreed by contract, the right of cancellation is excluded in accordance with legal ordinance no. 206 of 6^th September 2005:
- if the service has been started with the agreement of the consumer before the cancellation limit has expired,
- in the case of merchandise or services whose price is linked to fluctuations in the market over which the seller has no influence,
- in the case of made to measure merchandise or products that can not be returned because of their condition or because they would perish on the return journey,
- if sealed audio visual products or software have been opened by the buyer;
- in the case of newspapers and magazines.

In the case of articles that have been impaired by traces of use or where the packaging has been damaged, “Platinlux des Platino Giorgio & Co. KG” takes an appropriate compensation for the reduction in value provided that the customer’s prior cancellation of contract has been accepted by “Platinlux des Platino Giorgio & Co. KG”. The right to withdraw from a contract in any case applies only to the mail-order business; products collected directly from “Platinlux des Platino Giorgio & Co. KG” are excluded.
